The Kavi Shekhar Pandey Arts Writing Scholarship will pay out a minimum amount of $405 annually to one University of Michigan undergraduate and Michigan Daily Arts staffer who best exemplifies Kavi Shekhar’s passion for writing and spirit of generosity. The scholarship will be need-based, with additional priority given to applicants of diverse backgrounds, and will be handed out every April. The Board of Student Publications at the University of Michigan oversees the distribution of all Daily scholarships and will be responsible for funding it in perpetuity. All funds collected through this link will go toward the sole purpose of maintaining the scholarship.
